Matrix Construction Services completed a skydeck lounge renovation at 801 LasCo in Irving, Texas, refreshing the outdoor amenity’s service area and surrounding lounge. The project included removal of existing appliances, cabinetry, countertops, and bench seating, followed by stucco repairs, wall painting, and electrical outlet adjustments. New outdoor-rated HDPE cabinetry in a Pitch Black Matte finish was paired with 2-centimeter Dekton Argentium countertops, an undermount stainless-steel sink, a pull-down kitchen faucet, and a new beverage refrigerator. Tile cleaning, grout work, and caulk repairs completed the coordinated update.
The optional island was designed at 9 feet 2 inches long, 25 inches deep, and 36 inches high, with a 4-inch countertop profile and waterfall ends. The completed scope created a cohesive skydeck lounge with materials and finishes selected for the demands of an outdoor environment.
