Chip Gee extended Matrix Construction Services into Texas in 2015, advancing Matrix’s reputation for excellence into the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Under his leadership, with the successful addition of operations within both the Houston and Austin markets, Matrix has ranked as one of Texas’ premier renovation companies. With over 25 years in the construction industry, Chip has a proven track record of improving and expanding operations, project solutions, and empowering the next generation of talent.

Jason Kelly joined Matrix California in 2008, and then in 2015, Jason partnered with Chip Gee and Todd Coomes to start Matrix Texas. Jason currently serves as Vice President of Construction, where he oversees production leaders to ensure the quality and project management components of each job are met. Jason is a process-driven leader, and his attention to detail in all aspects of what Matrix does helps set us apart from our competition.

Tim Wisth joined Matrix California in 2005. He is a 16-year veteran of the multifamily industry, whose continued growth and development led him to expand his role with Matrix as Vice President of Construction for California. Tim is responsible for overseeing management, estimating, preconstruction services, and project production for all California projects. His leadership abilities and construction knowledge assure clients that they will receive quality work on schedule and within budget.

Connor oversees a highly competitive and talented group of account managers and estimators. Whether we are scoping, estimating, or executing in the field, he ensures that our team provides results at the highest level possible, which consistently exceeds our clients’ expectations. With 10+ years in client-facing and operational roles within the multi-family, single-family, and commercial construction industries, Connor drives a culture that focuses on the details and ensures that Matrix is meeting production expectations as well as achieving and maintaining company profitability objectives.

Ryan’s previous work successes and experiences have enabled him to flourish as a Matrix leader. Ryan recognizes that teamwork and hard work are the qualities that bring results, so he incorporates these principles throughout managing the top-line revenue and business development of the company. Along with the responsibilities of his leadership role, Ryan also ensures that team goals and quarterly objectives are on track to be fulfilled.

MJ oversees the day-to-day operations and the long-term success of Performance Services. He leads his team by example and manages the operations team to help achieve the goals and objectives to help make the company successful. MJ has extensive knowledge of the multifamily industry, having worked in multiple leadership positions. MJ knows what it takes to meet the company’s strategic goals, missions, values, and beliefs.

Joyce’s background in the accounting field spans more than twenty years, with seven of those years specifically working in the construction industry. Throughout all her work experiences, Joyce has been recognized with awards such as employee of the year, most valuable employee, and leading change. Prior to her professional experience, she earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and is furthering her education by pursuing a master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. All of her academic and professional achievements combined define Joyce as exceedingly qualified in administering her duties to the highest caliber that adheres to the Matrix model principles. Her role entails all management and oversight accounting responsibilities that contribute to the financial health of the company.
