Power of Community
At Matrix, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. Recently, some of our dedicated field crew had the opportunity to volunteer with the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County (CACC). This experience allowed us to contribute to the vital work CACC does in supporting and caring for children in need. Here’s a closer look at the work our team accomplished.
Updating the Music Room
The music room at CACC is a space where children can express themselves and find solace through music. Our volunteers were tasked with updating this important room. The team worked diligently to remove old sound-absorbing panels, repaint the walls, and ensure that the room was refreshed and ready to continue serving the children who use it.
Refreshing the Teddy Bear Room
The teddy bear room at CACC holds a special place in the hearts of many. It’s a comforting space where children can feel safe and secure. Our volunteers took great care in repainting the walls, fixing bubbles, and repairing scuff marks to ensure the room remained a warm and welcoming environment.
Just A Small Contribution
While our efforts may seem small in comparison to the daily work done by the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, we are proud to have played a part in supporting their mission. The refreshed spaces are now better equipped to serve the children who rely on them, and our team left with a deep sense of fulfillment from contributing to such a meaningful cause.
