Matrix Construction Services had a great time at this year’s AAGD Clay Shoot, hosted by the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas. This event has become a favorite in the multifamily industry here in Texas, offering the perfect mix of friendly competition and a chance to catch up with colleagues and friends in the field.
A Day on the Range
Set at Elm Fork Shooting Sports, the clay shoot brought out teams from across the region, all looking to showcase their sharpshooting skills and share a few laughs. The Matrix team—Duane Latendorf, Eddie Cruz, and Andy Cordina—showed up ready for a day of clay-busting fun. We enjoyed the chance to get out of the office, engage with familiar faces, and meet new industry professionals who share our dedication to multifamily excellence.
Connecting Beyond the Competition
Of course, while the day was all about hitting those clay targets, the real value came from the connections made along the way. Events like the AAGD Clay Shoot remind us that the multifamily industry is built on more than just projects and deadlines—it’s built on relationships. Whether we were talking shop with fellow contractors or sharing a quick story with property managers, every conversation reinforced why we’re proud to be part of this community. We owe a huge thank you to the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas for organizing the event. Their efforts to bring the industry together with such well-planned events don’t go unnoticed.
Looking Forward
This year’s clay shoot was a day well spent, and we’re already looking forward to next year. We’ll be back, ready to take aim, reconnect, and enjoy another round of friendly competition. Until then, you’ll find us hard at work, helping keep multifamily properties in Texas in top shape.
